TITANIUM: STRONGER THAN STEEL, LIGHTER IN WEIGHT.
The titanium fasteners weigh about 60% vis-a-vis stainless steel and have excellent resistance for acid and alkali, as well as low temperature, non-toxicity, and many more advantages.
The CP Grade2 Titanium bolts have high resistance to corrosion and are used extensively due to its durability.Titanium bolts are also unique in the chemical processing industry for handling Chlorine (wet) and chlorine compounds in aqueous solutions. These bolts are fully resistant to solutions of chlorides, hypochlorites, chlorates, perchlorates and chlorine dioxide. As a result titanium bolts are often using within the chlorine related industries such as pulp and paper and chlor-alkali / bleach.
These bolts provide an excellent solution to prevent seawater corrosion. Because titanium bolts can resist corrosion by seawater up to temperatures as high as 500°F (260°C) as well as survive at ocean depths over a mile below the surface, they are used throughout the oil & gas, desalination and marine industries.
